John Cavaliere’s Lyric Hall Restoration, Antiques and Conservation is a private practice specializing in the conservation and restoration of gold leaf picture frames, fine art, furniture, architectural elements and cultural property. Lyric Hall Antiques and Conservation is headquartered in the fully restored Lyric Hall, the former 1913 West Rock Theater, a vaudeville and silent film house now on the National Register of Historic Places.

John Cavaliere is a New Haven native who studied Fine Art at Connecticut College. Thereafter he worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and went on to apprentice with a master gilder. In 1994 he opened his private practice and called it Lyric Hall.
